About Me
My name is Zoe and I am a senior at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I am a business major with an emphasis in marketing, and I am also pursuing a global business certificate.
I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and that has shaped who I am today in many ways. For one, I love tacos. Breakfast tacos, street tacos, any tacos. I also like country music, hot weather, barbecue, and live music. The past three years I have lived in Colorado, which in many ways has influenced me to becoming the person I am now. I love the outdoors, and hiking and camping much more than I used to. I have lived in a place with cold weather, and decided I do not like digging my car out of the snow all the time.
During the summer I work for a summer camp, JCC Ranch Camp, and that has given me the best community I have ever been in. I have met people from all around the world, gotten great real world experiences for working and interacting with others.
Another part of me close to my heart is traveling. Through CU and my studies, as well as my life outside of school, I have come to cherish travel and all that comes with it. I want to travel the world and meet new people, and be able to learn and understand things about other cultures. I am very interested in the business side of this as well, and learning about how business and cultural environments change based on where you are in the world.
I am taking Digital Art 1 because I want to gain more experience in the content side of marketing, and just have an outlet to be creative while learning something new. I am interested in photoshop and love making collages outside of school.
